Upcoming Mission

VICTUS HAZE

Mission Details
Mission Summary
As part of a multi-launch agreement with True Anomaly, Firefly’s Alpha rocket will launch True Anomaly’s Jackal Autonomous Orbital Vehicle (AOV) for the U.S. Space Force VICTUS HAZE Tactically Responsive Space (TacRS) mission. Once the mission team enters the hot standby phase, True Anomaly and Firefly will remain on call until the U.S. Space Force provides a notice to launch. The Firefly team will then have 24 hours to transport the payload fairing to the pad, mate the fairing to Alpha, fuel the rocket, and launch within the first available window. This mission will be the second U.S. Space Force mission Firefly has supported with its rapid launch capabilities following VICTUS NOX in 2023.
Payload
Firefly’s Alpha rocket will launch True Anomaly’s Jackal Autonomous Orbital Vehicle (AOV). Once the Jackal spacecraft is deployed, True Anomaly will begin its on-orbit operations to include operating near a second VICTUS HAZE performer, Rocket Lab National Security.
